During the workshop, calligraphy artist MADARA will transform your English name into beautiful kanji characters, using his original style known as Hisseki-jutsu-shodo—a technique believed to bring good fortune. Each stroke is made with care and intention, turning your name into a meaningful piece of art.
You can choose to write your name yourself or have MADARA do it for you. The finished calligraphy is then paired with his original sumi-e (ink wash) artwork and printed on a custom item of your choice, such as a T-shirt or tenugui (traditional Japanese towel). Your one-of-a-kind item will be ready for you to take home on the same day.
